10 Precise Moments When WWE Ruthless Aggression Era Careers Ended

2. Heidenreich

Shawn Michaels Lance Cade
WWE

Oh...oh no.

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who thought pairing Heidenreich with Animal and pretending that the duo were worthy of the LOD name was a fine idea. Heidenreich was visibly out of his depth, didn't improve as a worker at all, and older fans scowled as he tried to replicate the glory days of The Road Warriors by playing WWE's very own Hawk.

Being fair, WWE had nothing else for the former poetry-loving muscle man. A revamped LOD got old fast though, and the company knew they had to scrap it before irreparable damage was done. Ha! Yeah, because this nonsense hadn't already been damaging to the LOD's legacy.

Heidenreich's last TV appearance came alongside Animal on the 31 December 2005 Velocity. That show isn't on the WWE Network, hence the rubbish screen grab here, but...you wouldn't want to watch their match vs. Nunzio and Vito anyway.

Enjoy Heidenreich celebrating. "Enjoy".
