10 Predictions For WWE In 2020

7. Roman Reigns Will Keep Improving And Become The New John Cena

Despite the setbacks Reigns suffered on the road to WrestleMania, if anyone still thinks that Reigns is not the future of the WWE, they’re clearly misinterpreting what they’re seeing on WWE programming every week.

Even though he isn't at the spot where WWE management might have initially expected him to be, Reigns has been improving with every match and promo, and is still growing as a star. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that, within the next five years, Reigns will have won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at least once, and embarked on a title reign (no pun intended) that spanned more than a full calendar year.

The WWE higher-ups are in dire need of a 'mainstream' guy; someone who can replace John Cena as their go-to person for media appearances, company promotions, and carrying the company forward. Even though WWE has other great stars in Rollins, Ambrose and many others, Reigns has a certain appeal and magnetism that few other WWE Superstars possess, and that will bring him a lot of success over the next five years.

As long as he puts in the time and effort to improve his microphone skills and add more variety to his matches, by 2020 he’ll become the new John Cena in terms of popularity.
