Roman Reigns' time in the doghouse may be coming to an end. Only the most stubborn and wilfully ignorant fans could have ignored the fact that Reigns and Big Show put on a barnstormer at Extreme Rules, and Roman had nothing handed to him in that bout. He took big bumps, but also displayed legit toughness and strength in overcoming the giant. He's paying his dues, slowly but surely. If he were to battle for the title in a triple threat, no one would think he reasonably stood a chance at walking away with the gold, so why should the fans withhold their cheers? Reigns has been adding to his move-set and as long as he continues to do cool things like jumping over the top rope and spearing people through barricades, in Maryland he will enjoy the sort of popularity that he once used to have.
