After Brock Lesnars match with John Cena at Night of Champions, a good deal of the mystique he gained from WrestleMania and SummerSlam has been lost. WWE put a lot of work into making Brock Lesnar the ultimate boss of WWE, but undone almost all of it immediately when Cena was suddenly able to hang with Lesnar a month after he ate sixteen German Suplexes. Lesnar has a history of going after whoever is the biggest fish, or whoever has the most buzz. In recent years hes set his sights on and demolished the likes of The Undertaker, John Cena, Vince McMahon and 3MB. If Sting were to show up, its not beyond the realm of possibility that Lesnar would think Hey, I reckon I could beat that dude up! Taking out an icon the calibre of Sting could help rebuild some of Lesnars mystique and aura in the build up to his next match with John Cena. He only has very few dates that WWE can capitalise on, and a once in a lifetime encounter between Brock Lesnar and Sting is more than worth one of those valuable appearance dates.
