This is the sad truth that Luke Harper fans need to be aware of. While he could be a World Champion, or putting on killer matches week in and week out, he could just as easily be turned into a singing, dancing comedy character like so many big men before him. Everyone remembers the Brodus Clay promos promising the latest monster threatening to come wreck shop in WWE, only for the Funkasaurus to show up instead. Brodus isn't the only one, as Vince McMahon seems to find endless humour in turning his big men into comedy characters. The Great Khali, Mark Henry, Vladimir Kozlov, Matt Morgan, even The Big Show, all of these men have at some point been reduced to a punchline. The problem then lies in what to do with them next? There's nothing wrong with a man crying, but Big Show cries so much that it's hard to take him seriously as a threat, and when was the last time anyone believed that Khali or Mark Henry were a legitimate threat in a battle royal? While positivity is always a necessary trait for wrestling fans, it's always important to be realistic, and the fact of the matter is, as a big man, Luke Harper is more susceptible to this fate than most.
