Some of the best stories in wrestling involve looking at what's come before, and well, just doing that again but bigger. The nWo was a copy of a New Japan angle, Mick Foley redid his anti-hardcore character in the mid-2000s and when you say The Summer of Punk, you have to specify which one you mean. Why not do the same with Luke Harper and his greatest feud? Luke Harper and Cesaro were literal giants in CHIKARA, and when they finally clashed it was something fans had been eagerly anticipating. After the first two matches ended with one man or the other disqualified for accidentally hitting the referee, and the supposed final match turned into a schmoz of interference, Cesaro challenged Harper to the first ever cage match in CHIKARA history. Even know, it's a match that's fondly remembered as one of the best in CHIKARA's history, and both Harper and Cesaro are infinitely better wrestlers than they were back then. WWE already found success in running Cesaro against his longtime opponent Sami Zayn, so why not get the most out of the two best big men on the roster?
