10 Problems With Booking John Cena Vs Brock Lesnar At WWE SummerSlam

10. There's No Possibility Of Seth Rollins Cashing In

Around this time of the year, the possibility of someone cashing in a Money in the Bank briefcase is just about the most exciting thing in the WWE. It's the closest thing to sheer drama we get outside of the likes of the Royal Rumble, largely because you simply have no idea when it is going to happen. Every championship match until the actual cashing in of the contract leaves everyone wondering exactly when it is going to happen - but unfortunately, there's simply no chance of it happening at SummerSlam. With a Lesnar victory looking incredibly likely (if not a near certainty), it means that Triple H's plan to wrestle the title away from John Cena will have worked to perfection. Having Lesnar as the champion has been long mooted, all the way back to when he declared his intention to win the title back at the start of the year. So the likelihood of Seth Rollins coming out at the end of the show to cash in his briefcase just doesn't seem likely, taking away a whole other element of drama that we come to usually expect. It's likely that Rollins will wait to cash in his contract when Roman Reigns is the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, a move that could happen in the next few months. But for now, fans expecting a cash in at SummerSlam are going to be massively disappointed - the booking of Cena vs. Lesnar just doesn't fit into Rollins' currently storyline path.
