It's no secret that Undertaker's ability to put on fantastic, workrate-heavy matches is waning. The man's 50 years old, so it's only natural that he's slowing down (and a miracle that he was able to work so hard over such a long period). His recent Hell in a Cell encounter with Brock Lesnar went 18 minutes, and masked a lot of its own flaws by simply being an incredibly hard-hitting brawl. It was like something from a bygone era, complete with stiff punches, weapons galore, and gallons of blood. A WrestleMania match with John Cena would have to adopt a more paint-by-numbers, "sports entertainment" format - and would suffer greatly as a result. When paired with an absolute workhorse such as Shawn Michaels, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan or Kevin Owens, Cena is capable of contributing to a classic match - but he's always second fiddle, regardless of the result. A Cena match usually lives or dies on the ability of his opponent, and Undertaker no longer has the ability to steal the show on his own.
