10 Problems With WrestleMania 38 Nobody Wants To Admit
4. Fantasy Booking Ideas Were Better Than The Payoff
During the lead up to WrestleMania 38, there were tons of rumours and innuendo floating around the internet about the potential plans WWE had to make this an event to remember.
Some of the best ideas included AEW's Chris Jericho battling 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Riddle Vs. Randy Orton and even 76-year-old Vince McMahon, proving once again why he's referred to as a 'Genetic Jackhammer,' by competing in a match against the much younger Pat McAfee.
Sure, no one wants to see a near-80-year-old senior citizen get thrown around a wrestling ring, even if the usual bells and whistles were thrown in to cover up for his shortcomings. But despite this, there is a certain curiosity amongst wrestling fans to see whether Vince could still go, and what insane spot he'd allow himself to be involved with in the name of making WrestleMania truly spectacular.
Ultimately none of these matches are happening or even came close to happening in real life. They were simply great examples of fantasy booking that fans wanted to see at WWE's biggest show of the year. The reality though turned out to be quite a bit more underwhelming than the fantasy.
