10 Problems WWE Doesn't Want To Admit About Hell In A Cell

1. It's A Relic Of An Outdated Mindset

A overriding theme throughout many of these points is that Hell in a Cell seems an ill-fit today. It's a relic of the past, a reminder of a thrilling (but terrifying) time in which far more dangerous bumps were allowed, and possibly encouraged. In continuing to promote the Cell as a stipulation of potential unspeakable carnage, WWE are contradicting themselves entirely. Fans aren't stupid; promoting an upcoming Cell match as the most destructive in history, before stopping a Raw main event to clean a spot of hardway blood will eventually raise question marks. Surely it's time for WWE to scrap the yearly Hell in a Cell PPV, take an extended break from booking the stipulation, and only bring it back once it's retained some of its one-legendary aura. Until they do so, they'll continue to damage one of their most beloved match types.
