10 Problems WWE MUST Solve In The 2021 Draft
2. New Challengers For Roman Reigns
One of the biggest struggles with having a dominant champion, is that sooner or later they will run out of challengers.
Roman Reigns is currently in that predicament. Since his Universal Championship win at WWE Payback 2020, he has run through talent such as Edge, Cesaro, Kevin Owens and John Cena, to name a few. This puts SmackDown in a bit of predicament as they are left without fresh faces to step up to the Tribal Chief.
There are a few changes that could be made in the Draft that could freshen up the SmackDown side and maybe leave Roman with some new contenders. As previously mentioned, Drew McIntyre should jump ship to the blue brand along with his former rival Bobby Lashley. It feels like they have done all they can on Monday nights, and they could both offer a unique challenge to The Head of the Table.
Other names could be Keith Lee, maybe even Karrion Kross to try and fix some of the damage that has been done since his debut. There are a few stars who could jump ship, but it definitely needs to be sooner rather than later.
