Before Daniel Bryan was even considered for the main event of Wrestlemania XXX, another man was bandied around as being the ideal candidate to take that spot, CM Punk. Now departed from WWE, Punk cuts an often-controversial figure, and it's fair to say the man isn't afraid to say what's on his mind! Daniel Bryan's Wrestlemania moment was a thing of beauty, defeating Triple H in a stellar opening match, all before tying Randy Orton and Batista in knots in the featured bout, leaving as the new WWE Champion. It was a feelgood moment, the culmination of an epic story, one which had fans genuinely feeling their hero was being held down by the company. Instead, Bryan was permitted to have his time in the sun, and the fans responded in kind, going ballistic. Originally, it was CM Punk who was set to face Triple H, but that all changed once the former elected to walk away from the promotion after the Royal Rumble, leaving a massive gap at the top of the card in the process. It's safe to say that regardless of how good a match Punk vs. HHH would have been, a lot more fans were left happy with the end result, Daniel Bryan as champ.
