AS: When you talk about wanting to entertain the masses, that has a lot to do with developing a great character. You, Shawn and Molly have all succeeded is that aspect, is that something you're really going to help students with to work on?

KA: Yes, part of our curriculum is going to consist of what you do in the ring: moves, bumps, holds, exchanges, reversals; you know the high-risk maneuvers and things like that. And we're going to spend a considerable amount of time doing promos and character development.

You know, shining a spotlight on those areas of strengths, and trying to clean up their weaknesses or hide their weaknesses altogether. Paul Heyman was great at that, and that's one thing I learned from him; you don't have to be a tremendous technical wrestler in order to be successful in this business. Obviously it's good to have that, and I want people to be well-rounded, but if at the end of the day it's just not going to cut it for you, then there are other ways that you can be successful.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
