8. Who are some of the names in women’s wrestling that have stood out to you?

Chyna. Before I got to WWE, she was just this incredible figure. I remember she had this big entrance, with that image of seeing her her shoot this firework gun into the crowd. She was such a star. It was unbelievable, and she really stood out and made an impact in women's wrestling. Trish Stratus was just incredible, and such a great wrestler to watch and to work with. Lita, of course. Those are kind of the three names that come to my mind when talking about some of the most influential women in the business.

7. You’re a talented wrestler, but during your era there was a lot of sleazy matches. Is it frustrating to have missed out on women’s wrestling being presented much more seriously than it was 10, 11 years ago?

MH: You know, a little bit, but when I was in WWE, we were wrestling like 7, 8 minute matches at most. As you saw tonight, they went like 30! I’m not sure I could keep up with these girls (laughs). Sasha and Charlotte are incredible in the ring, and incredibly athletic. They're working at such a peak level that they’ve really upped the game for women’s wrestling. Things have come such a long way since I was working full-time, and it's really been a positive move.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
