To that, he said Dan Cormier. Good picks. He's talked about being a Diaz fan as well. He's buddies with Chael Sonnen. Who, however, is he looking to emulate? Who is he looking to for inspiration? As far as overcoming adversity (something Punk will face), Matt Hammil would be a good choice. As far as starting a career late? Why not Randy Couture, Cung Le, or even Herschel Walker?
