10 Questions Steve Austin Must Ask Stephanie McMahon On WWE Network Podcast

8. Competing In The Ring

Stephanie doesn't take too many bumps these days but, during the early 2000s, she had a lot of highly publicised matches on television and on pay-per-view. Many of them were also pretty damn good, for a non-worker. Her match with Trish Stratus, herself far from polished as a performer at the time, at No Way Out 2001 was a revelation. Steph also had a shockingly good match with Sable at Vengeance 2003. Steph's last match was against Brie Bella at SummerSlam 2014. Stephanie is a former Women's Champion and regularly got in the ring during the Attitude Era. Sure, the matches were short and would hardly be mistaken for a Kurt Angle or an Eddie Guerrero match, but she still had to go in there, in front of millions watching on television and thousands in the arena (with limited experience) and wrestle matches. How did Steph feel about this? Was she nervous about doing it? Did she enjoy the experience or was she just doing it to help the company? Did she ever consider wrestling more matches? How was it wrestling her father, Vince, on pay-per-view at No Mercy 2003? These are all questions that Stone Cold could ask Stephanie during their podcast together.
