10 Questions WWE Doesn't Want You To Ask After Raw (Nov 16th)

2. Is The United States Championship Just A Prop?

Well, this question looks pretty familiar. Of all the WWE Superstars who could have gone on to face Roman Reigns at Survivor Series (surely Sheamus would have made more sense to keep him close to the title and tease the possibility of him cashing in?), why they would choose Alberto Del Rio to make it into the semi-finals is surprising, for one glaring reason. Like Kevin Owens' Intercontinental Championship, the United States Championship now won't be defended at Survivor Series as Del Rio sets his sights on a much greater prize. After the months of work Cena put into making this title a big deal, Del Rio's forgettable midcard matches on Raw and SmackDown against the likes of R-Truth and Stardust have done it no favours whatsoever, and it's easy to see it once again losing its prestige in the coming weeks and months at this rate. It's just not being utilised in a smart way, and while you can almost imagine Owens scoring an upset win on Sunday, there's no way Del Rio does. However, seeing as Cesaro injured Roman's arm, chances are Del Rio is only there to further add to that with his trademark Cross Armbreaker, only for the Samoan Superstar to overcome the odds and go into the final match as an injured warrior who either loses because of that injury (a good way to keep him looking strong) or again overcomes the odds for a triumphant victory. Ugh, what a thought!
