10 Quick Fixes That Would've Improved WWE Draft 2016
7. Cesaro Goes To Smackdown
Cesaro stole the show during his brief backstage interview after being drafted in the sixth round at #28, somehow being picked after the likes of Big Show and Baron Corbin.
Cesaro delivered what was reportedly a shoot interview, riffing on his disappointment at being drafted to Raw as he hoped to go to Smackdown, where wrestling was promised to matter more. He seemed to express a legitimate frustration with both his Raw placement and the focus on the GMs over actually showcasing wrestling.
The Internet naturally loved the segment, and at least there's still hope that Cesaro could end up traded to Smackdown in the near-future to face the likes of AJ Styles, Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler in particular.
For now, though, it's tremendously disappointing that Cesaro is probably going to get lost in the shuffle among Raw's roster and a tonne of excessive ring drama.
