10 Quick Fixes To Save NXT

7. Reviving The Revival

The Revival were the best tag team in the world in 2016, and yet now find themselves staring into the abyss thanks to a shift in the direction of the Tag Team Titles and a main roster call-up not as obviously in sight as it should be.

To that end, it would be worth giving fans a series of short burst moments to remind everybody exactly how important an act Dash and Dawson are, with a storyline designed to elevate them almost beyond NXT's doubles straps.

With the access WWE has to past and present teams, The Revival should wrestle every single week on television, finding new and deviously brilliant ways to defeat their opponents until their consistent destructions command either a third reign with the titles or a richly-deserved ascent to Raw or Smackdown.

The beauty in the programme will come from the range of opponents, with endless opportunities for nostalgia and surprise, and the hope that somebody will finally shut the loudmouths up.

That will of course never come until a TakeOver special with the aforementioned stakes, but it could make dynamic television to see the likes of The New Day, The Dudley Boys or Too Cool give it a noble try.
