10 Quick Fixes To Save The WWE Brand Split
2. Use Sami Zayn!
At the risk of stating the obvious, Sami Zayn is pretty
awesome. Which is why the Raw brand should start treating him that way and
actually use him in some storylines.
So far since the splitting of the brands, Zayn’s only be used in one-off matches, and while one of them was a number one contender’s bout it didn’t amount to anything. After teaming with Neville at SummerSlam, it looked somewhat likely that the two may became something of a more permanent team, but again nothing’s come of it since.
He doesn’t necessarily have to booked as one of the top guys on the show, but at least give him some kind of spot on the card beyond random, throwaway matches. Perhaps they’re saving him for the Cruiserweight division—in which case I’ll stand corrected. In fact, at this point that might be the best possible role for him on Raw.
Either way, he needs to be used rather less sparingly and in more meaningful circumstances. Otherwise, I’m sure those calls for a trading system will quickly start gaining more traction.
