Because its a headless turkey of an angle. Seriously - where is this supposed to go? Zeb Colter and Del Rio already have the US title, and they cant literally form their own two-person nation. Are there some racist characters in WWE that theyre being set up to feud with? Where can they possibly take this storyline? And are they heels or not? Because Zeb Colter was a heel when he was a massive racist, yet accidentally managed to get we the people over as a babyface catchphrase. Now theyre trying to get heel heat by telling people to stop hating and embrace tolerance. I dont understand how thats supposed to work. Is it just their condescending attitude that makes them heels now? Are we supposed to be ignoring the fact that the xenophobic guy who ran the Real Americans tag team is now preaching racial integration and brotherly love? Because having an epiphany, a moment of sudden realisation, and changing your entire attitude for a more positive one thats a babyface turn. Or is this some form of bizarre punishment for Del Rio, given that he left WWE under a cloud because he chose to stand up for himself against the institutional racism he perceives in the company? After his release, Rodríguez pretty much outed Triple H as a guy famous backstage for his racially inappropriate comments to Latino/Hispanic talent. Is this payback, saddling the man with an anti-racist gimmick that makes no sense? Whatever. The angle is such a non-starter that I literally cant bring myself to care enough to get to the bottom of it. End it, please. Zeb and Jack Swagger can go back to getting cheap heat by shouting about immigration, and Del Rio can go on to break arms and take names.
