10 Radical Ideas To Save WWE Money In The Bank

5. The Mysterious Gimmick

The Authority Money in the Bank
WWE

TNA, never backward about stealing WWE ideas wholesale, created the Feast Or Fired concept as a way of taking the Money In The Bank idea and overbooking it by having more than one possible winner.

Four men would wind up with briefcases: one with a contract for a TNA World Championship title shot; one worth a tag team title shot with a partner of their choice; one representing an opportunity at the X Division title… and one with a pink slip firing the man who won that briefcase.

Why not take the only redeeming quality of the Feast Or Fired gimmick (in subtle revenge for TNA nicking the briefcase idea in the first place), and have the contents of the Money In The Bank briefcase be a mystery until the match was over and the winner declared?

Have the briefcase opened the next night on RAW in a special ceremony with the boss present. What could it be? Literally anything - a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, a shot at the tag titles, the Intercontinental Championship, the US title…

Why not something a little more esoteric? Have the winner get to run RAW for one night only, any time in the next calendar year? How about the power to make any match they like, with any gimmick, and any stipulation, involving anyone they like - and not necessarily including themselves?

As long as it’s not something f*cking stupid like a pink slip (seriously, that sucks so bad), it could literally be anything, and change every single time.
