10 Rare Brock Lesnar WWE Dark Matches You Need To See

6. Brock Lesnar Vs. Albert

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyqOAobzep0 After months of dominating smaller opposition, Lesnar is finally matched up with someone closer to his own size. This could have possibly been a test by WWF officials, to see how Lesnar fared when he wasn't just throwing a cruiserweight around the ring at will. That's not to say that Lesnar couldn't throw a man the size of Albert around at will, however, as he demonstrates here when he effortlessly performers a belly to belly suplex on the future Tensai. Unfortunately for Lesnar, he forgets where the hard camera is on occasion, which probably got him marked down from this watching in the Gorilla position. What's incredibly to see about this match is just how into Albert the crowd are, reacting for his comeback and, especially, his finisher. The tables would turn just over a year later (this match took place on Novemeber 20th, 2001) when Lesnar was riding high as WWE Champion and Albert was struggling as A-Train. Lesnar and Albert had many more matches against each other, with Lesnar famously nearly breaking his foe's neck with an F-5 gone wrong on Smackdown. The two also clashed in 2006 in Japan over the IWGP Heavyweight Title in New Japan Pro Wrestling following their exits from WWE.
