4. WrestleMania 33

The Undertaker's second loss at WrestleMania was completely unnecessary, but it did pave the way for what is undoubtedly one of the most unexpectedly emotional moments in the history of the Showcase of the Immortals.

Putting his hat and coat back on after the match, 'Taker took them off once again (along with his trademark fighting gloves) in front of 70,000 people, folding them neatly in the middle of the ring. As he lifted the hat from his head, he let out a sigh and left it on the pile of ring gear below. If that wasn't mortal enough, the tired veteran then went over to his wife, Michelle McCool, and kissed her before exiting the arena with one last triumphant fist.

That sigh, and the rattle of thunder that followed, really made it seem like the power of the Dark Side had left his body, leaving behind the man who could finally enjoy his retirement.

It wasn't the end of an era we all thought it was as The Phenom returned to action the following year, but for a whole year, it truly seemed like it was - and that's unquestionably down to 'Taker's rare breaking-of-character.
