10 Real Life Wrestling Feuds Where Justice Was Delivered In The Ring

1. Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon

When Vince McMahon made the decision to screw Bret Hart for real at the 1997 edition of Survivor Series, the wrestling world was stunned. It was fairly common knowledge that Hart was about to leave the WWF for WCW, but nobody could have predicted what would happen during his WWF Title match with Shawn Michaels to close out the show. Reading Bret's autobiography reveals several things that wrestling fans weren't really aware of before the book was published, such as a secret meeting between the men in 2006, where Vince borderline apologised for what he had done, but explained why, feeling Hart was going to stab him in the back and show up on WCW television with his main title. It'd be 2010 before things were really settled between Vince and Bret, and the same goes for Hart's frosty relationship with Shawn Michaels. Admirably swallowing pride and accepting that it was time to move on, everyone involved made amends, and suddenly Hart was booked opposite McMahon at WrestleMania XXVI. The ultimate squash, this was somewhat uncomfortable to watch, as the babyface viciously beat the heel, relentlessly pummeling him with a steel chair. Sure, Bret Hart's character got his redemption, but the whole thing felt a little hollow, and not the glorious moment it should have been.
