Roman Reigns' heritage is commemorated in his unmistakable tribal tattoo which extends the length of his right arm. The incredible design took 17 excruciating hours to complete and alongside the likes of The Rock, The Usos and Peter Maivia, continues his Samoan family's history of tattoos.

Whilst the sleeve epitomises strength for Reigns, the most intriguing part of his extensive tattoo is the turtle on his wrist. A Polynesian turtle (which in Samoan culture symbolises family, wellness, longevity and peace) with a flower in top is dedicated to his daughter Joelle.

Roman describes her as the best thing that ever happened to him and the driving force in his life, and the turtle is an homage to her as well as a constant reminder to Reigns, who told Corey Graves on Superstar Ink that the most important title he can have when he dies is that he was a good father.
