10 Real Meanings Behind WWE Superstar Tattoos
3. Rey Mysterio
You could probably make a top 10 list solely about all the tattoos Rey Mysterio has, from the '619' on his left forearm for the area code of the city he grew up in, to 'MEXICAN' across his stomach for his heritage, to the names of his children on his biceps.
Mysterio has numerous religious tattoos as a Roman Catholic too, the most notable being multiple crosses all over his body, including one attached to rosaries on his chest.
The most poignant tattoos however, are those dedicated to the late, great Eddie Guerrero. 'Guerrero Latino' on Rey's left arm is an obvious nod to his best friend, but Mysterio also has a cross with a tombstone reading 'EG' at its centre on his left arm too in order to keep Eddie close and with him at all times.
"That's something very private, very personal, and very meaningful to me." Mysterio explained on a recent episode of Superstar Ink, reiterating the importance of Guerrero both to him and to the wrestling world.
