In the stop / start world of WWE pushes, one of the true achievements in the modern era is to maintain a solid spot on the roster. For Styles, his goal will be latching on to the upper mid card, and then staying there. If he can achieve that, then he'll be very happy with his run in WWE. But it won't be easy. Look at someone like Kevin Owens, he went from defeating John Cena clean, to then mixing it up lower down the card with Ryback. Or how about Dean Ambrose, a guy who went from challenging Seth Rollins for the title, to then struggling for a spot on specials. Staying over with WWE's bookers is very difficult to do. The likelihood for Styles is WWE will do what they always do, forget about him and slowly relegate him down the card. He'll likely become just another guy, someone who can bump and sell for the real stars. That's why it really would be an achievement if he can get to and maintain an upper mid card spot.
