A lot of the criticisms and negative backlash could and would be negated if Batista was bringing quality matches to the table. Almost everything on this list would be forgiven if he was bringing down the house with four- and five-star performances every week. Its why fans clamor for CM Punk to come back, even though he left WWE high and dry at their busiest time. Its why Triple H has gotten a pass from fans recently because he delivered a hell of a match against Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania, showing he can still bring the goods. Batista certainly is capable of delivering a good, entertaining match, but we just havent seen it yet, at least not one-on-one. His last two PPV matches were outstanding, and while he certainly did his part, he was in there with some other great performers. His match against Alberto Del Rio was uninspired, and since then, its been mostly tag, three-way and six-man tag matches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhgHwpLmXuQ If WWE and Batista want to turn the corner with some fans, then he needs to show he can still deliver a quality match, something that makes them want to see him on their TV. Heels can be hated and booed, but still appreciated for their performances. Look at the Shield, the Wyatt Family and Cesaro. All of them are bad guys, but fans love watching them wrestle because they are great at their craft and fans genuinely appreciate that. They arent seeing that from Batista, so everything else is magnified.
