4. Limited Other Options And Sting Is Injured

With Cena and Undertaker not happening, it doesn't leave a lot of other options. There was always the speculation about The Undertaker versus Sting being a Mania headliner, and it was certainly a dream match for WWE fans. But Sting's performance and injury at Night Of Champions has most likely killed that opportunity. Beyond that, WWE were limited for options. There are other big stars, but then it would involved them having do jobs. Strowman solves that problem, as he looks fearsome enough to mean something in the spot, but he isn't too big of a star to do a job for The Undertaker. He can go in there and lose. What other wrestler could have filled that role? There's not many. The likes of Seth Rollins or a Daniel Bryan could have had great matches with the deadman, but they really need to be winning next year.
