The biggest reason to believe the debut is imminent is the sheer blatancy of WWE and Sting. Neither side are even trying to hide it at this point. Go over to WWE.com and he's right there at the top of the list of 'featured superstars'. On Sting's part, he's letting everyone hear about how much he loves WWE's wrestlers and product. Would either side be acting like this if they weren't about to do business together very soon? Just take a listen to Sting's comments at the San Diego Comic Con. He states that it's good to finally be with WWE. He says that Vince McMahon told him they'd eventually do business together. He mentions that he'd like to work with guys such as Randy Orton, John Cena, Triple H and The Rock. Are those really the kind of comments he'd make if he wasn't about to do business with the company? Judging from current circumstances and the upcoming circumstances (SummerSlam, Network Renewals, WWE 2K15), we simply have to believe that Sting's WWE debut is imminent. Both sides are effusive about the prospect and the upcoming occasions look more than perfect for a major debut angle. For Sting, the time is now.
