10. Hogan's Raw Birthday Celebration

In the immediacy, Sting's WWE debut could even go down tonight on the 11th August Raw. The rumour has done the rounds ever since it was announced that there'd be a Hulk Hogan birthday party with surprise guests on tonight's Raw. Could Hogan himself be introducing his old WCW rival? It seems unlikely. The debut idea that we'll detail later in this feature seem more probable. The issue with Hogan introducing Sting is that it becomes a segment as much about the Hulkster. That's surely not what WWE want, surely the creative team know that Sting should be the sole story when he finally debuts. Vince McMahon waited nearly two decades to get this WCW icon, we really hope he doesn't throw it away on some Hulk Hogan angle. There would be one big advantage bringing Sting in on the go-home Raw though. It would boost SummerSlam viewers significantly. A go-home show needs a big money angle, Sting turning up would certainly provide that. You'd then have to tune into SummerSlam to see why the Stinger was in WWE. WWE are desperately keen to shift WWE Network subscriptions around SummerSlam. Just maybe they'll roll out their Sting weapon on Raw. If not, there's still a range of deployments that will see Sting come in very soon - including one very big clue the day before SummerSlam.
