If Sting doesn't debut at SummerSlam, there's still reason to believe that he'll be in at some point during the next month. The reason for this is the expiring WWE Network subscriptions. After attaining a disappointing number of subscribers, WWE are absolutely desperate to retain those accounts they do have signed up. With that being said, expect them to throw the kitchen sink at making September a WrestleMania level month. Sting surely factors into that if he hasn't already debuted at SummerSlam. He would blow a huge TV rating if he turned up on Raw in early September, in turn acting as a compelling reason to sign up for Night Of Champions. The other option would be to hold off his debut until Night Of Champions. WWE would promote his appearance there ahead of time, so fans would be more likely to stay with WWE Network in order to see the Stinger. In many ways this is actually a much better idea than debuting Sting at SummerSlam.
