If the current Wrestlemania position was the plan all along, then that pretty much proves this article right already! So, with that in mind, let's say that it was not the plan all along and that WWE changed their direction after hearing the fan reaction at and since the Royal Rumble. The fact that WWE would actually re-write their whole Wrestlemania plan for him is a massive indication of their faith in him. Remember, the fans also vehemently did not want to see the Cena v Rock rematch last year, but the WWE never budged on that one. Not in favour of CM Punk, or anybody else. This year, WWE seemed to have their hopes pegged on the returning Batista. Batista was the conquering hero, coming back to stop the horrible WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton, and triumphantly win the title at Wrestlemania. It's fair to say that the fans did not share this vision, and boy, did they make their feelings heard. The fans wanted Daniel Bryan in the main event of Wrestlemania, fighting for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and they would not give WWE a moments rest until they got what they wanted. After plenty of worry and speculation, the #hijackRAW movement, the #Yes movement and everything else, WWE finally pulled the trigger and gave the fans what they wanted. Batista was turned heel, and Daniel Bryan was given a chance to get into the main event. They'll also go one step further...
