The night after WrestleMania has evolved into one of WWE's best shows of the year, typically with a range of big angles, major returns, and sensational debuts.

But not this year.

The post WrestleMania 32 Raw in Dallas just stumbled along, mixing between the predictable and the nonsensical.

Yes, some wrestlers did debut from NXT, and there were returns, but it was all minor league. As for angles, there was nothing like Dolph Ziggler cashing in Money In The Bank a few years ago. This was very much just your typical Raw show, with a few scraps thrown in for the sake of the the smark crowd.

Coming off the back of the disappointing WrestleMania, it has compounded the notion that WWE are struggling in the creative sense. With the exception of Roman Reigns and AJ Styles, there really wasn't a lot of positive direction. The creative was in cookie cutter mode, offering up the bare minimum.

And as for the crowd, it wasn't as lively or exciting as previous years. It was like both WWE and the fans were burned out from the near seven hours of WrestleMania and its pre-show. The only noise was the smarks putting themselves over and distracting from the show. That, and the following reasons, contributed to a disappointing night for WWE.
