10 Reasons You Should Be Excited For Sting Vs Triple H
It's time to play the game with Sting.
The next big feud in WWE was started at Survivor Series. The news may have been broken a day prior to Survivor Series, but that still didn't take away from the moment. Just as the crooked referee, Scott Armstrong, was about to count Ziggler out for the 1-2-3, the lights went out and history was made. After an amazing video montage in black and white featuring dead trees, crows, and scorpions, Sting's face showed up on the Titantron, and the WWE Universe exploded. The man called Sting finally made his official WWE debut! While Michael Cole has been criticized for not being as good as Jim Ross, he was great on his call here with, "OH MY GOD. IT'S STING!" The crooked Scott Armstrong made a feeble attempt to stop Sting and got clocked for his troubles. Then history was made. Sting set foot into a WWE ring for the first time ever. There was an intense staredown between Sting and Triple H. After the initial roar of the crowd, the first chant from the audience was "HOLY SH_T! HOLY SHI_T!", followed by a Sting chant, and then "THIS IS AWESOME". Holy sh_t was right. Sting and Triple H would walk around in a circle staring at each other for a couple minutes before Triple H attempted to strike first. He missed, got a kick to the gut, and then fell victim to the Scorpion Deathdrop. After Sting performed one of his finishers on Triple H, he would put a lifeless Dolph Ziggler on top of Seth Rollins for the original ref (that Triple H earlier took out) to count the 1-2-3. Just like that, it was the end of The Authority's reign over the WWE. This now sets up a potential Triple H v. Sting match, most likely at WrestleMania 31. While it is unknown if Sting will just wrestle one match or make one final run as whole for an entire year or so, we do know that Sting is here, and will most likely have something to say. It's time to play the game with Sting vs Triple H!
