Obviously the term "First Ballot" for the WWE Hall of Fame is more decoration than fact. It is a term commonly used in sports, but there is not a set timeframe for eligibility into the WWE Hall of Fame. An active wrestler could be inducted into it if Vince deemed it necessary. There are odd and interesting choice into the Hall Of Fame; which makes for a great debate, but something that is not to be debated is the Hall of Fame candidacy of Triple H and Sting. Between these two wrestlers, there are 23 world champions and 44 total titles within the WWE, WCW, NWA, and TNA. For the contributions that Sting and Triple H have made to the sport of professional wrestling, they will both eventually be at the podium the night before WrestleMania some year. The pedigree (no pun intended) of both wrestlers is unquestioned, and to never have a match between Sting and Triple H in the history books would be a fairly large hole that can easily be filled with the events that have started at Survivor Series.
