It's hard to deny that Ziggler is a born natural in the ring. Both of his signature moves, the Fameasser and the Zig Zag always draw great crowd reactions, and it wouldn't be far from the truth if you were to say that his dropkick is one of the best in WWE today! From his humble beginnings in the Spirit Squad (more on that later) to now, he has created his own move set in the ring that looks good and is majorly over with the WWE Universe. This can partly be attributed to one of Ziggler's trainers, who is none other than Lance Storm, one of the best in-ring technicians that there ever was, but unfortunately what he had in talent, he lacked in personality! Thankfully, Ziggler has both personality and talent in abundance. Even before he was at the height of his popularity, there were indications that Ziggler was one to watch for the future. His 2011 Royal Rumble match against Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship gave viewers a chance to see what this blonde kid from Cleveland, Ohio could really do when put in the ring with a similarly-skilled opponent. The same can be said for his matches with CM Punk on the RAW Supershow in November 2011 and with Chris Jericho at Summerslam 2012. Both feature Dolph at his absolute best, pushing his opponents to step up their game so they can hang with him in the ring. The only downside to these matches is the presence of Vickie Guerrero at ringside, shrieking encouragement at Ziggler at every available moment!
