3. The Natural Story As Opposed To A Forced Story
What killed Roman Reigns in early 2015 was the fact his story seemed so forced. Fans could clearly see the manufactured aspect of the Rumble win, going on to what looked like a certain WWE Title win over Brock Lesnar at 'Mania 31. The predictability of it all made for a dud of a build-up, although on the night it ended up being absolutely sensational. For 2016, the Triple H story feels a lot more natural. It just feels right for Reigns, and indeed for Hunter. There's a clear animosity between them that needs to be resolved. The natural thing to do is fight it out and see who comes out on top. What would be unnatural is if Reigns became WWE Champion, because how does that fit in with The Authority screwing him? Why would they give him title matches and why would they put him in the Rumble (unless it was at the No.1 entry)? That wouldn't make sense. WWE should go with the natural flow of the oppressed versus the oppressor and resist the urge to throw Reigns into a WWE Title match.
