The British pro wrestling scene is booming. Promotions like WCPW, PROGRESS and Revolution Pro Wrestling are all helping to make the UK a true wrestling hot-spot.

The next step in legitimising the UK scene, embedding it in the world of pro wrestling, is to host events that draw the best wrestling talent from around the globe to our shores. RevPro are making these strides with the British J Cup.

NJPW is coming off its most-viewed Best of the Super Juniors ever. RevPro, capitalising on this hype, will now attempt to develop a British equivalent to the tournament. The single-elimination tournament will feature four tremendous Japanese talents, including storied veteran Jushin Thunder Liger, and the new IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Kushida.

Also booked are British sensations Will Ospreay and Marty Scurll, as well as former Ring of Honor World Champion Kyle O'Reilly. Add to that non-tournament competitors Hiromu Takahashi, Matt Riddle and Tomohiro Ishii, and you have a hell of an exhibition going down July 8th in London.
