Braun Strowman has been the unlikely MVP of Monday Night Raw in recent months. He hasn't had to do anything drastic. He simply has to show up and knock the clean f*ck out of Roman Reigns.

It's a simple formula, but one that Strowman has executed to perfection. He's seen as a fun throwback to the hokey, monster heels of old. At Great Balls of Fire, the hokey-ness will be taken to a new level, as Reigns and Strowman clash in an ambulance match.

This isn't typically a stipulation that fans get excited about. It's almost like a more awkward version of the last man standing, but it fits perfectly into what Reigns and Strowman are doing. Give us all the yelling and rag-dolling that we've had in their past encounters and we'll be happy.

An added twist to this match is the battle for the SummerSlam Universal Championship match. Strowman was lined up for that shot before injury, and Reigns has recently declared himself as the SummerSlam challenger.

Therefore, if they include an injury angle, where Strowman puts Reigns out of commission, this is essentially a make-shift number one contender's match.
