Gunther is the Greatest Intercontinental Champion Of All Time, and unlike the man whose tenure he smashed, it's not just a catchphrase. Every former champion promised to "restore it to its former glory", but 'Der Ring General' and actually did that too. He's a game-changer and a record-breaker.

Speaking of records, Roman Reigns continues to smash everyone in sight, and the infuriating - if gutsy - move to keep the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the 'Tribal Chief' at WrestleMania has ensured he'll keep going. Austin Theory didn't really warrant a three-figure stint as United States Champion, but it stood as much chance of getting him over as anything else. A noble failure from the company, if not the wrestler.

Few wrestlers at their peak loved holding gold as much as Triple H, and as a creative boss he seems to have identified that as a priority. It's all quite basic, but the longer those basics drifted from view throughout the 2010s, the more it felt as if they'd never float back.
