10 Reasons John Cena Must Win WWE Title At TLC

5. Lesnar Has Been Booked Poorly Since SummerSlam

Over the past year, Brock Lesnar has reached two major career milestones in the WWE. Defeating The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30, ending the streak. Becoming the WWE Champion again by defeating John Cena at SummerSlam. Whether you agree with having Lesnar as the man who ended The Undertaker's streak, or you agree with having a part time wrestler as the WWE Champion, the WWE decided Lesnar was the right man for both. Where the WWE failed was with the booking of Lesnar shortly after SummerSlam. After destroying Cena to become champion, The Authority questioned Cena if he was really deserving of a championship rematch. The Authority should have granted Cena the rematch at Night of Champions, but added the stipulation that this would be his last chance at the title. He would not be eligible for another shot at the title as long as Lesnar was champion. This would have placed even more importance on the match. After retaining the championship, Lesnar should have came out the next night on RAW and boasted how he is still the champion. He had beaten down both The Undertaker and John Cena, two of the biggest names ever in the WWE. Lesnar could have then called out anyone from the back to face him, but due to fear, no one would accept his challenge. He would leave the ring bragging that no one has the guts to face him, and until a challenger steps up, we won't be seeing him in the ring. In the months to follow, whoever the WWE chose to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31, could have been pushed heavily. This push would have culminated by winning the Royal Rumble match, and challenging Brock Lesnar for his title. Lesnar could now reappear on WWE TV after the Royal Rumble PPV to accept the challenge, and could appear each week leading up to 'Mania. If he had been booked this way, it would explain the long absence from WWE TV that Lesnar has had. We know that he's on a part time contract, but a better job should have been done booking Lesnar and the WWE Championship.
