In 1995, Big Daddy Cool took on all comers as WWE Champion. Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, King Mabel, and Sycho Sid all tangled with the champ, but came up short until Bret stole a victory by playing possum at Survivor Series 95. That didnt change the fact that fans saw fit to reward Diesel with the honor of being named Pro Wrestling Illustrated Wrestler of the Year. He was the man.
