10 Reasons Kevin Nash Deserves To Be In The WWE Hall Of Fame

9. He Is A Crossover Star

You can probably count on one hand how many professional wrestlers have been able to successfully crossover into film. The Rock, Batista, Lenny Montana, Jesse Ventura€ and€ umm€ EXACTLY. Prior to breaking out as a WWF Superstar in the mid-90€™s, Nash portrayed Super Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. While that€™s not necessarily the IMBD credit that can strengthen my argument, it€™s certainly a start. It gave him the footing to land more prominent roles after his in-ring career was at its tail end. He not only stole scenes as a sensitive corrections officer in Adam Sandler€™s remake of The Longest Yard, but he later managed to snag parts in the film adaptation of the hit musical Rock of Ages alongside Tom Cruise and Steven Soderbergh€™s Magic Mike with Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum. In 2014, he shared the screen with Keanu Reeves in John Wick and next year he is slated to reprise his role as Tarzan in Magic Mike XXL. If you ask me, the big man is just getting warmed up. He wouldn€™t be afforded these opportunities had he not made a name for himself in professional wrestling.
