It sounds like a sped-up version of the Jaws theme, and it used to play real softly when main event competitors would make their way to the Gorilla Position in 1997 and 1998. Any long-time wrestling fan knows what the €œcage drop music€ is. Over the past decade or so, the €œcage drop music€ has been exclusively used for the lowering of Hell in the Cell. The house lights dim, the spotlights flash in a strobe-like effect, and the cell slowly lowers from the rafters. WWE fans are conditioned to know that the pulsating music means something epic is about to happen, even if that prophecy sometimes isn€™t fulfilled.
