9. It Gets Fans Talking
Whether it be Ronda Rousey making a cameo, possibly signing Silva and Sonnen, CM Punk going to the UFC, Brock Lesnar going back and forth, Alberto Del Rio being coveted by multiple promotions, or Bobby Lashley being a two-sport champion, the MMA/wrestling crossover has fans talking. And talking a lot. Fans of both professions are passionate; really, that's one of the best things about them. So getting them talking is a great thing, even if they don't always agree with the moves being made. A reaction, any reaction, is better than no reaction at all.
