10 Reasons You Need To Check Out TNA's January 2015 UK Tour

2. There Are Always Surprises On The UK Tour

Last year, we had the pleasant surprise of seeing British ambassador and former TNA Television Champion, Doug Williams, show up as a mystery opponent for EC3 at the London tapings. We also saw the debut of MVP, revealed as the new investor in TNA, at the Glasgow tapings, with his first TNA match coming at the Manchester tapings. But the biggest surprise of all came at the Manchester leg of TNA€™s Maximum Impact tour of 2012. The advertised main event was Sting & James Storm vs Bully Ray & Kurt Angle, but Robert Roode (as he was known at that time) came out and demanded to be a part of the match, putting the babyfaces at a 3-on-2 disadvantage. This led to Sting calling out a sixth man to even the numbers up, and that man was none other than Hulk Hogan! I think it€™s safe to say that nobody in the crowd in Manchester dreamed that they€™d be seeing Hogan wrestle that night, let alone team up with Sting. It goes to show that TNA likes to pull out some big surprises and big events on the biggest shows of their year.
