10 Reasons You Need To Check Out TNA's January 2015 UK Tour

3. TNA UK Debuts For A Number Of Stars

Bobby Lashley is one of TNA€™s most intriguing signings since Kurt Angle arrived in 2006. Lashley came to prominence in the WWE, where he was involved in a match which received widespread mainstream media coverage. At WrestleMania 23, he faced the late Umaga, but it was their respective cornermen that gained the publicity: Umaga had Vince McMahon, Lashley had the legendary tycoon Donald Trump, with the losing cornerman having his head shaved. Lashley won the match, leading to McMahon losing his hair. Since returning to TNA for a second stay in 2014, Lashley has won the World Heavyweight Title and has held the distinction of being the only reigning World Heavyweight Champion in wrestling to compete in a MMA fight (which he won). Aligned with MVP, the mouthpiece of the group, and the criminally underrated Kenny King, Lashley is the silent enforcer of the alliance. Taryn Terrell is one of the most improved female wrestlers of recent years. She debuted for the WWE in 2008 under the name of Tiffany and was limited to multiple person Diva matches that were more style than substance. Since arriving in TNA, she has trained hard to become a serious competitor and this work has paid off. At the Slammiversary XI PPV in June, she beat Gail Kim in a Last Woman Standing match that was one of the hardest hitting women€™s matches that I have ever seen outside of Japan, and she is the TNA Knockouts Champion at time of writing. While she did feature on the 2013 tour, this will be her first outing as a competitive wrestler. Bram, who has been profiled already, is also making his UK debut as a TNA wrestler on this tour.
