2. He Doesn't Get Rattled Over Crowd Responses
Those vocal, passionate fans that dislike him are certainly not afraid to make their feelings and opinions known. Cena has been on the receiving end of some
very unflattering crowd chants, but he doesn't seem to be bothered by them at all. If you want to look at the flip side of this argument, look no further than WrestleMania 20, when Brock Lesnar faced off against Goldberg. The Madison Square Garden crowd knew that both men were leaving WWE after WrestleMania was over, so they turned on the match from the very beginning. They booed, jeered, and chanted against both men for the duration of the match. When you look at the faces of both Brock and Goldberg, you could tell it bothered them. They were flustered, and they didn't know how to respond. Both of them broke character on a few occasions, just to acknowledge the crowd. Cena, on the other hand, has had matches like One Night Stand 2006 against Rob Van Dam, WrestleMania 22 against Triple H, Money In The Bank 2011 against CM Punk, Unforgiven 2006 against Edge, and so many more, where he was the face but still getting almost universally booed. Chants that were R-rated, incredibly loud heel heat was heard, but nothing got him down. In fact, he seemed to perform
better under those circumstances. There's something about rising to the occasion when the heat (no pun intended) is on that is inspiring, and should be seen as such.
